Until now I have not been a "birther". Now with the recent stories about Mr.Obama,which in the past were written by creditable sources, I find myself questioning the location of his birth.
I now must ask if this is why there has been so much money spent on erasing Mr Obama's Past.

It is amazing. I too had to go through a TS clearance check in relation to one assignment I had and I got calls from a couple of people, via my folks I hadn't heard from in 10 years. I would say that they were only fair acquaintances.
Of course their is some indication Obama has had involvement with the CIA when he finished Colombia.
Want to have some real fun.... go to this web sight and do internal searches. This organisation takes periodic snap shots of the web and has been at it for several years.... lots of interesting stuff if you want to snoop around. The search facility is good and you can search for text, video, audio etc.....

But Frag he was already a citizen based on her US citizenship at the time of birth I don't think he loses that because she gives up hers, if she even did. He is natural born Jus Sanguinis, by parentage. It is all in the hated 14th Amendment.

Two issues to clear up here... 1) was he born in Hawaii... if so he is a natural citizen..... and that is the end of the story. Some scepticism over the facts. He can't seem to provide a birth certificate that passes the smell test and the address given in two Hawaiian news papers gave an address occupied by someone else at the time and was occupied by them into the 1970's. The next issue the is 2) If he wasn't born in the US then the laws at the time of his birth are as follows.... (Keep in mind that his mother was 18)
Between December 24, 1952 and November 13, 1986, the law specified that if you were born outside of the United States and only one of your parents was a citizen, that parent must have resided in the United States for at least 10 years, at least 5 of which were after the age of 16.

Agreed. But Rick is deceived. He thinks just having one parent who is US citizen is enough. Wrong. The issue under Constitutional Law is whether he was born in the USA, or its legal territories. If he was, yes, that ends it. (But he has not proven it in a court of law, refuses to do so...which is quite easy actually....so why wont he?)

Wrong frag. If he was born to an American parent and it does only take one, he is a natural born citizen of the United States although he would not be native born. You see that is what you are missing. Let's teach it again. There are two types of natural born citizens. Jus soli(birthplace or native born if you will) and jus sanguinis citizenship by parentage. He holds the later. His mother was a natural and by the way native born US citizen at the time of his birth wherever it happened. She met the criteria of living in the country for at least 5 years and 2 years of that being after her 14th birthday. The point being it is up to Mr. Obama to PROVE his qualifications, not OUR job. He has not done so in a court of law, or submitted his original birth certificate to independent experts to examine and opine on its authenticity. His failure to do so is very strange and makes him look like he is hiding something.

I agree with you 100% in that we need to be able to know who our president is through public records. We need to understand just where he lived and when. We need to have access to those people who knew him as a child, a teen. We need to know who he affiliated with and what his goals were. Autobiography are, if not written for a person how is self deprecating, choreographed by the person of interest to show life with the blemishes removed... or at least those blemishes that are most embarrassing..
