I for one, would like to thank the Birthist for staying in Waikiki and "investigating" the beach.
40 K spent and I wonder what they found out?
That a person should wear slippahs on the hot sand at mid day?

Well maybe they learned of the delight of shave ice with ice cream on a hot day, or that spam musubi is good.
(Actually Waikiki is not a place to pick up good local style food.)
I hope the at least go check out the volcanoes on the Big Island while they are so near.

One never knows Lou.....but since Airforce 1 costs over 180 thousand per hour ....and the fly over in New York for some "updated photos" was later resolved with just an apology....then all that needs to be done here is say sorry....and a cool 140,000 to go!!

Dear Jill,
Thank you for speaking with me several weeks ago and providing the helpful links below. I sent a request for a verification in lieu of a certified copy of President Obama’s birth record to the Dept. of Health on March 30th. I was just wondering if you knew whether the request was received and how long it usually takes to process? Thanx.(SIC).

Yeah, your are probably right..... but it certainly wouldn't be the same people.... not rightly sure why this is a partisan issue.... One would think that all Americans, except for those with less than American motives, would what to insure the integrity of the oval office....

LOL .... One would think that all Americans, except for those with less than American motives, would want put an end to this issue, and would realized by now that overwhelming proof has been given of Obama's birth in the USA. But unfortunately those sort of unamerican haters only care about their own shallow bigoted agenda...... their stubbornness only reveals them as the recalcitrant fools they are, and confirms that they should not be taken seriously.

It is difficult for a foreigner to understand two important points on this thread. (1) That the subject matter can have any relevance and (2) That the posters here will be trusted to actually cast a vote in November.

It is relevant because Obama isn't eligible per our Constitution.

Certainly, the most powerful person in the world could easily have forensics prove he is......and not even miss a dollar or hardly a day.....the fact he has not only proves what the bottom line is.

Gotta.
Please explain; your constitution determines who is eligible to stand for the Oval office. Are you saying that checks concerning the eligibility of Pres O were not carried out prior to the election? This appears to be a similar situation where the losers cry foul as occurred with the Jeb Bush voting irregularities when GW was elected for a second term.
Cheers from a very confused Aussie

The subject matter in itself isn't of importance. The real issue is of trust. Can you trust Obammma or is he a liar in chief.
The second point is easy.
The people who are hard core left or right will most certainly vote. The left and right not cemented in their ideology may or may mot vote depending on how the issues personally affect them.
The Independents are the people who will make the election and choose what's best for this country. Obama was fashionable, a rock star in the last election. The shine has worn off. He purported to have a plan. The anyone but Bush factor. We'll see if he can convince anyone of that again. This election will be about negative campaigner, led by the campaigner in chief. It has already started.less

Speaking for myself as an Independent, I certainly agree with you and I still have not made up my mind. Romney needs to show he is really a 'middle class' supporter and not just another priveleged 1% er, and Obama needs to develope a backbone and really think for himself rather than allow others to direct his actions.

wiz,
This election isn't about you or the middle class but what's best for the country. Can we afford 4 more years of the current policies or do we need a change to possible change the direction of the country.
In case you didn't notice, Obama is a 1%er, net worth 10 million.

What are the "current policies" won't they change if the MSM has influence over them?

Twins,
The current policy is tax and spend. Blame someone else. Economy is weak so we are very susceptible to market volatility. No plan for jobs, no plan for spending, hence no budget in 3 years.

If we are going to chide voters for choosing an anyone but Bush candidate, why should we look up to those who first dumped excrement all over McCain only to embrace him later? I mean, it was essentially two large voting blocks voting for Not Republican and Not Democrat. Let's be honest here, was anybody pulling the lever for McCain actually voting FOR him? More people in that echo chamber probably voted for Palin then they did him.

Perhaps the most defining comment on this website ever.
What does it define you ask... it defines our petty selves, even me..
We don't vote for the best candidates, we vote for the same candidates, the same dog dodo ever time.. the liars, the criminals, the real candidates reside in every home in America, the hard workers, the moms the dads, the folks that really care about this country every day in every way.

Unfortunately this web site is a reflection of America today.
We as a people continually vote our pocketbooks. Not what's best for the country but who is giving me the most.
A sad commentary on what we have become since JFK's speech.

Obama to attend private equity executive's fundraiser

May 14 (Reuters) - President Barack Obama is due to attend a fundraiser hosted by one of private equity's leading lights on Monday evening, the same day his campaign launched a scathing attack against his Republican rival Mitt Romney's private equity record.
LMAO as he bounces Romney for working at a private equity company. A bit insincere.
