So quiet one could hear a pin drop.. the silence of the MSM as the testimony continues

Twinsdad 1 hour ago

A witness told Florida cops that he saw Trayvon Martin straddling George Zimmerman and pummeling the neighborhood watch captain “MMA style” shortly before the unarmed teen was felled by a gunshot to the chest.
The man recalled seeing “a black male, wearing a dark colored ‘hoodie’ on top of a white or Hispanic male who was yelling for help.” The black male, he added, “was mounted on the white or Hispanic male and throwing punches ‘MMA (mixed martial arts) style.'”

The witness--who was in his living room and about 30 feet away from the confrontation-- said he called out to the two men that he was dialing 911.

So, where is the MSM as the facts come out? Where is the outrage when the MSM altered a tape to make a victim the criminal?

In all the threads put up and taken down by this site, every chance I got I implored all of you to wait for the testimony.

Well, what say yee now?

It sounds to me as though Mr. Zimmerman feared for his life and felt he had to shoot.

Daddio, there ain't a peep from MSN 'cause they either need time to spin it back to fit their agenda, or they're outta interviewing amateur actors to come forth as false contradictory witnesses pal!

TD I don't want it to e a hate crime. I want an involuntary manslaughter conviction. that is the best they will get.

Rick, "want an involuntary manslaughter conviction."

That is what the crime is and that is what I want too.

However, the DA is doing a very poor job of getting anything going to get a conviction of any kind

rick0427 23 hours ago

Not true louman. Sheriff Joe Arpiao runs a county jail. A county jail which is used for minor misdemeanors and those awaiting trial. Sheriff Joe treats them all the same and Maricopa county has paid out millions in settlements to those he has abused. Sheriff Joe said everyone is treated the same. Therefore in Sheriff Joe's world Guilty until proven innocent is the rule of the day. And Sheriff Joe is doing nothing wrong although he has been sued several times for abuse of his inmates once recently I believe. Sheriff Joe in defending himself said evryone is treated equally. Sheriff Joe is not doing anything wrong you all told me so, just the other day. But sheriff Joe is treating those who await court, by his own words the same as those convicted. Guilty until proven innocent I suppose. You all like sheriff Joe and his illegal methods of detention because 25% of his prisoners are illegals. racist! less

Too funny Dan. Orni exposed nothing except that Orni inadvertently thinks I live in a million dollar neighborhood, which I know of no one except Ric Flair that lives in place like that.

Rick,

How can you expect a manslaughter conviction when the charge is 2nd Degree Murder?

And how can you "want" a conviction? You haven't even been presented with any court admissable evidence....

rick0427 1 day ago

Why don't you watch the MSM and see. Obviously the non MSM are the ones silent. I have heard this on all three major networks this morning. There is no "Silence." They also stated that the evidence is mixed and Zimmerman created the situation by getting out of his car instead of waiting for police.

Of course it's Zimmermans fault, I can clearly see it now. Even though I wasn't there he was obviously at fault.

People are still innocent until proven guilty.

"They also stated that the evidence is mixed and Zimmerman created the situation by getting out of his car instead of waiting for police."

Testimony in open court rick?

If not, not worth the time of day. You want this to be racial, you want this to be a hate crime, the tears you will shed when it is not found to be one will be huge.

Zimmerman on the other hand will be wearing a target, 24/7, all because the MSM doctored a video tape and wanted this to be an election issue.

If this were not an election year not one single news wire would have carried the story.

Yes and that is the result of Zimmerman stalking Martin and Martin feeling threathened..... for some reason in the minds of some Black people are not allowed to defend themselves when cornered and threatened by an unknown person who is stalking them.

If I were going to fight back against someone with a gun who was following me, I would be "throwing punches MMA style" also.

Ahh, more conjecture from the peanut gallery.

Let me remind you that in a court of law sworn testimony is the standard, not innuendo nor conjecture.

Being stalked and being beaten are two different crimes. One victim choose stalking the other choose physical violence.... and was legally rebuffed as this court will find and all the MSM left leaning voices will fall silent shortly after rage in the streets brought about by agenda driven "leaders" that think lies can be made into truths

Maxyasgur 1 day ago

But int he court of market watch, innuendo and conjecture IS what we deal with, such as the supposition the left (curiously) will be rebuffed and silenced. It's a court of law, not a court of justice and according to the law, the voice of the guy living will likely be the one accepted as the other party is dead. That's how law works.

Twinsdad 1 day ago

Well Max, your point is well taken, however "forensic science" brought to the forefront of America by CSI, is the basis of this he said he said battle.

When the first Trevon threads started infecting this blog I implored all to wait for the actual court testimony and not to try the case in a blog, however that failed.

I will still wait to judge victim vs criminal based on the verdict. The voice you speak is not the voice of a human it is the voice of science.

Maxyasgur 21 hours ago

Given that law, TD, I'm hard pressed to believe Zimmerman will be convicted of the charge leveled against him. Does that exonerate his actions? No. It simply makes them legal in Florida. I watched a snippet of his lawyer today who said (paraphrasing) " If Treyvon had not gone to the store at that time, this would not have happened. If George stayed in his car, this would not have happened. But, we need to stick to what did happen and discuss that in court." The legal outcome of this case is not likely to change anyone's mind one way or the other. In the courtroom, what matters is whether the evidence can be portrayed (or discredited) to meet a threshold of guilt (or fall short). What really happened is less important then what people can be convinced happen within a very tight context of rules. It is what it is. less

You are correct.... it has also come to light that the autopsy of Martin revealed that he had THC in his system..... Not the tell-tale markers that last for a period of weeks but the THC that makes one high. When I first read this, I went "So".... I've never heard of anyone who was high on weed being prone to violence...... but then I thought about it..... Marijuana is very well known to induce a lot of paranoia in some people and agitation because of it.....

" Not the tell-tale markers that last for a period of weeks but the THC that makes one high. " here we have you typical right wing out right lie and distortion of the facts.... even the article sites says "trace amount".... what a great example of how some people make up their own perceptions.

Martin's autopsy indicated that medical examiners found THC, the psychoactive ingredient in marijuana, when they tested Martin's blood and urine. The amount described in the autopsy report is such a low level that it would have played no role in Martin's behavior, said Larry Kobilinsky, a professor of forensic science at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York.

The article I read did not give levels only descriptions..... If I got it wrong, sorry. Max, it is well known that anxiety and paranoia are side effects of a weed high.....and in a situation where the tension was high... who knows. I have never stated that I know anything for a fact and anyone posting here that does is a liar unless they have direct access to all the case files and interviews..... EVERYTHING is postulation. I'm not necessarily trying to defend Zimmerman's action but you have to admit, absent any real information at all, he was convicted long before anyone in the media or the racial stirrers knew anything.

TheScott 13 hours ago

Of course the flip side to all of this is that apparently Zimmerman was taking 2 prescription drugs at the time, one for insomnia and the other of ADHD..... both, in small segments of users, can cause aggressive behavior.

Never knew how anyone was cornered, in the middle of the street, next to the assaulted victim's truck, atop the assaulted victim ... except perhaps for the assaulted victim himself. But that don't matter, don't mean nuthin.

stndyogrnd 1 day ago

Many alert readers have noticed a problem with this account. Zimmerman’s truck was in the street. According to Officer Smith, Trayvon Martin’s body was “laying in the grass between the residences of 1231 Twin Trees Ln. and 2821 Retreat View Cir”—in the yard between buildings, not near the street. Even a charitable belief that Zimmerman intended to return to his truck has to note that, if so, he hadn’t gotten back near it. How far did Zimmerman chase Trayvon Martin? Or is the claim that Martin was chasing him, a claim contradicted by Martin’s cell phone conversation with his sixteen-year-old girlfriend?

Its very apparent that Zimmerman lied about being attacked from behind.

Twinsdad 1 day ago

So you admit he was attacked and defended himself

Has the "attack from behind" scenario been entered into the testimony?

Or is it just a pipe dream?

T was shot in the chest at point blank range, how far did he stagger back?

Testimony?

The more you reach for straws the less facts you care to recognize, you want so badly for this to be a race on race crime that actual facts mean nothing to you.

If you were the intelligent human you pretend to be you would not make even one comment until the testimony is through and the jury has the trial in its hands.

stndyogrnd 23 hours ago

LOL Yes Martin felt so threatened by Zimmerman, an unidentified older male stalking him, who then actively pursed him as he tried to get away from him...... All in the 911 transcript. Martin even tried to run away. Zimmerman against the 911 operators request, feeling self, determined to play policman, cornered Martin, between the two lines of condos, then Martin feeling threatened like anyone would chose to stand his ground and protect himself. Under florida law, if he had a gun, he could have shot Zimmerman. The fact that Martin got the best of him, does nothing to exhonorate Zimmerman from the fact that his choice of actions created that situation. Being the adult, he should have known better. He then lied about how thing occured to cover his tracks less

It was not ILLEGAL for Zimmerman to leave his car and approach the drug user.

The 911 operator said you "Don't need to do that". Not "You can't do that" Not "That's against the law".

No is it illegal for Martin to stand his ground against an unidentified older male stalking him... it is illegal for someone to shoot someing who they are stalking and treatening.

Zimmerman violated several of the rules of being on a nieghbor hood watch. The first is to only observe and report, the second is not to be armed.

Regardless of whether Zimmerman is convicted of this crime, Martina parents will soo own that whole compound because of Zimmermans stupidity.

It's clear what will happen. Zimmerman will be confirmed innocent and the Dems will force the Gov to file a hate crime charge against Zimmerman. Which will be difficult since even theFBI has no idea what Zimmerman said.

Zimmerman was cranked up on amphetamine (Adderral) and coming off downers (Temazepam) while he stalked and killed Trayvon Martin.

He was cruising on a prescription speedball when it all came down.

A person with a history of violence (such as Zimmerman's resisting arrest and DV charges) should not be taking amphetamine. Perhaps a medical malpractice case will grow out of Zimmerman's murder prosecution.

I like MMA. They call that position the Full Mount. It's bad...more often than not it results in a fight stoppage due to punches.

I mean, I'm probably not as good an MMA fighter as Flunked, but I'm an educated fan. Zimmerman was in a tough situation. Although, when a thug jumps on you from behind, getting the mount wouldn't be that hard so it's not a clear indicator of how these two would fare in the cage.

Good thing ol' Zimmerman brought the peacemaker or this thing could have turned in to a real tragedy.
